βI hold the sword. I bear the sin. The fight begins.β - The Sinbearer
Creativity isn't about hitting a button and letting an algorithm guess your mind. It starts with your eyes, your own thinking, and your ability to deeply observe the world.
π In this exercise from my Creative Thinking Through Digital Art, I take three completely unrelated reference points:
1 - a warrior statue.
2 - a small green bug.
3 - some architectural ornamentation.
π₯ And I create a story pitch from my imagination β I give it deep meaning!
1 - the statue becomes duty, weight, and posture.
2 - the bug becomes color tone, shell geometry, and organic symmetry.
3 - the architecture becomes legacy, rhythm, and historical grounding.
By deconstructing these inputs through imagination, I create The Sinbearer β a character defined not just by a unique shape, but by narrative and purpose.
Character Pitch for the Sinbearer:
βHe does not fight because he hates his enemy. He fights because someone must carry the sword β and he has accepted the sin of doing so.β
I use AI to render my concept sketch. I direct the color palette and the posture, and I want AI to follow my initial concept as much as possible, not invent another one.
AI tools often distort forms, misinterpret proportions, or flatten storytelling into generic outputs, true creative thinking puts human creativity back on the right path. Digital tools are so powerful, but they are here to serve our creative vision, our observational skills, and above all our story.
Train your eyes first. The art will follow. π¨
