One Day in the Jungle, 3D animation teaching demo (8 exercises)

Teaching Demo with "Ion Creangă" State Pedagogical University from Republic of Moldova, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Year 1 of Study.

The duration of the Animation Design course was 22 sessions as 90h class contact and represents introduction into 3D animation. The course work is based on the execution of the preproduction and production stages in creating one single animation shot. The animation shot is approx 6-8 seconds long involving 2 characters: The Tailor and The Plant.

The overall animation production is based on a few stages
‣ Step 1. Blocking - setting the main keys as postures and the overall motion rhythm
‣ Step 2. Splining - connecting and reinforcing the key moments
‣ Step 3. Refining - smoothing and cleaning the motion
‣ Step 4. Final Polish - small adjustments and nudges of the overall animation, is the spark of life
