Animated Sketchbook Using AI

My creativity reel: “Animated Sketchbook Using AI” is presented in a split-screen video format, showing sketches on my phone versus AI animation clips.

- Left Side: screen recording of my phone scrolling through a total of 37 pages (with some photography as reference). All sketches are done on my phone, using the note-taking app, Samsung Notes. Each page is A4 size.

- Right Side: AI animation clips created using Grok are synchronized with the left-side sketches. The environmental sounds are also AI-generated.

My overall sketchbook is much larger than I can show here. As of today, I have over 100 pages of sketches, reference photos, poetry, written story pitches, and empowering notes—all organized into chapters. It is literally my creative book and a reflection of my day-to-day creative journey.

I “feed in” a sketchbook page and describe to AI, in detail what is happening in the story. Some animations (stories) are about the playfulness of a child, some focus on friendship or a mother’s love, while others explore overcoming challenges or themes of transformation. But there are also prompts about more mechanical motion, like a jump, for example.

I even prompt VFX details or for weather conditions like rain, snow, and wind. AI requires specific information and a lot of creativity.
